Earlier this month, Aito announced it had expanded its team to 45 people – more than doubling its headcount in just 12 months. The growth comes in response to booming demand for haptic touch solutions in the consumer technology market.
Sought-after solutions
This growth has been driven largely by the company’s need for highly qualified engineering resources to support current and future customer requirements. The new recruits will be tasked with powering the next generation of haptic solutions across laptop forcepads and keyboards, display, computer accessories, and other consumer electronic devices.
At less than 2.4mm thick, our solution is the slimmest on the market, offering precise, localised and instant haptic feedback that can be matched to the individual needs of users, generating engaging new user experiences and vital product differentiation for OEMs looking to gain a competitive edge.
Nedko Ivanov, comments: “We are seeing the finger-sensing and haptic touch market growing from high-end laptop forcepads to becoming integrated into mainstream consumer electronics devices. Our industry leading integrated solution provides a unique, space-saving and cost-effective solution for consumer technology manufacturers, who can create new and intuitive touch experiences to delight consumers and enable seamless designs.”
“The expansion of the team in Finland reflects both the demand for haptic applications in the market and our position as a market leader in the space.”
