Touch Low Energy (LE) technology fully utilizes the ability of piezo sensors to generate charge from user’s press. The simple and innovative low energy circuitry controlled by special LE Chip, is applied with standard SEP touch piezo stack. It can wake up the user interface and the whole device, from ultra-low energy state from 1st press of any switch in the user interface. With this simple and elegant solution the energy consumption of the switch panel can be lowered to the record level, sub-microamp current consumption in active idle mode, with no compromise on response time of press detection.
